Overview
Paddy was called to the Bar in 2018. His practice spans the gamut of civil and commercial law. Paddy has extensive court experience across federal and state jurisdictions. He specialises in remedies, intellectual property and insolvency.
Paddy closely monitors the development of civil legal remedies. He considers that the re-constitution of the High Court in recent years will accelerate the evolution of restitution and compensatory damages in Australia. Paddy’s fascination with the area manifests an acute understanding of his clients’ legal options be they traditional damages claims or less familiar remedies arising out of recent authorities.
Paddy holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University where he was awarded the University Medal. Prior to coming to the Bar Paddy was a solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons.
